Looking for a great family outing while the kids are on school break? Look no further than the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities. Its Children’s Theatre is staging Ella Enchanted from November 30 through December 29. Join Ella as as she and the audience journey to the fairytale land of Frell on a path to self-discovery.
The stage musical of Ella Enchanted has recently been adapted from the beloved book by Gail Carson Levine. Ella must navigate her world with the “gift” of complete obedience given by her misguided fairy godmother.
Adventures will ensue with ogres, giants, elves, wicked stepsisters, and true friends that help Ella find her voice. These whimsical characters make this a captivating tale for children and adults of all ages.
Performances are Tuesday to Friday at 10 a.m. and noon, with select weekend dates at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tickets range from $9 to $13 depending on date. You can find a complete schedule and can buy tickets here. The show lasts about one hour.
