You take I-25
To Exit 235
Then five miles west to The Tree Farm
The catchy jingle directing folks to The Tree Farm is wafting over the airwaves, as it does every year at this time. This east Boulder County tree nursery puts on its annual sale of shade trees and conifers just in time for the fall planting.
The formula is near-BOGO pricing. Buy one tree at the regular price and get a second of equal or lesser value for just 50¢.
From modest shrubs to 8-year-old trees of up to 8 or 10 feet tall, fast-forward landscaping of a new home or replacing a tree that had to be cut down.
Also, cold-hardy and disease-resistant rose bushes, privacy hedges, ornamental grasses, flowering perennials and ground cover are on sale.
FREE loading by the nursery’s professional crew and FREE tarp are included, The Tree Farm is open over Labor Day Weekend and remains open until weather forces season’s end.
Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
11868 Mineral Rd. (Hwy. 52), Longmont, 303-652-2961.
In case you didn’t know, that catchy little jingle that gets stuck in your head like an ear-worm was done by The Walker Williams Band, one of our favorite local country groups! Walker is a graduate of Arapahoe High School and performs throughout Colorado and Wyoming. :-)
