Kids of all ages can check out the world of Scouting at the annual Scout Show on Saturday, April 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the National Western Complex. The Scout Show is an opportunity for young and old alike to see what Scouting is all about as Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scout Troops showcase what Scouting has to offer.
There will be more than 260 booths to visit, each offering an activity, a game or a “hands-on” experience.
You can climb to the roof of the arena, cross a rope bridge, catch a trout, try camp cooking, paddle a canoe, give blood or just hang and enjoy the entertainment. A number of local businesses host booths with food, drinks and items for sale.
Entry is $5 per person (you buy a 2019 Camp Card) and includes special offers and discounts from supporting businesses worth more than $100. All Scouts (yes, Girl Scouts too) that are in uniform are admitted FREE.
