Families can break out the sparkling apple cider and do their own balloon drop during Anythink’s annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration on Thursday, December 31. This is especially designed for kids to welcome in 2021 as the clock strikes noon. Held online, this year’s festivities include an official countdown, interactive activities and a performance by musician Laurie Berker. Families are invited to pick up a FREE “Party in a Bag” at any Anythink Library.
Bags include noisemakers, balloons, activities are more. Though the libraries are closed to the public, curbside pickup is available during special hours. Check each library for details. You may want to get your bag sooner rather than later, as supplies are limited.
Noon Year’s Eve starts at 11:50 a.m. on Anythink’s Facebook page and YouTube channel with activities and the countdown, followed by Berkner’s performance
Berkner is known for helping launch the “kindle rock” movement, a genre of music designed to entertain kids and adults alike.
