If audiences can’t go to theaters, why not bring live performances to the people? This summer, visual and performing artists takes to the streets of metro Denver through #ArtFindsUs. On a Thursday each month between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m., a mobile group of artists will drive through a predetermined route, pausing along the way inviting communities to experience vibrant local artists without having to leave their neighborhood.
FREE performances are presented from a tiny mobile stage, while musicians are brought in by pedicabs. There are two mobile art panel trucks.
This work offers a safe opportunity to view work and is accessible from windows, yards and patios. The routes will include neighborhoods, business districts and locations where artists can safely connect with frontline workers.
Throughout the summer #ArtFindsUs will visit each of Denver’s city districts, culminating with Denver Arts Week in early November.
The routes, along with a line-up of artists for each month, will be published here. Each route includes three to four stops.
