July 6, 2023 – All Things Dragon with Terra Necessary + Shawn Bowman
Families, it’s time to get medieval and summon your inner dragon tamer! Learn to create fantasy drawings of dragons and other magical creatures with comic artist Terra Necessary of Atomic Pixies and sculpt ferocious dragon pins with sorcerer’s eyes and gilded scales.
July 20, 2023 – ArtPark Al Fresco Frankencreatures with Shawn Bowman
Create your own fantastical toy creation from hacked stuffed animals from the thrift store! A fuzzy arm here, a plastic head there and Blammo! You’ve made a unique, original friend with a bit of sewing and glue. This all ages workshop comes from the not-so-evil-genius mind of Shawn Bowman who specializes in community arts enrichment projects which stimulate our artistic imagination.
RiNo ArtPark is at 1900 35th St., Denver.
