Golden is best known for its beer. But that will change with the kick-off of Artsweek Golden, a week-long celebration of the arts, from June 17 to 23, 2024, orchestrated by the Foothills Art Center and highlighted by a weekend arts festival with more than 70 artists exhibiting their works in downtown.

The main event is the Artsweek Golden Festival on Saturday & Sunday, June 22 & 23 in Downtown Golden on 12th and Arapahoe Street.
This is a juried art show featuring media, including ceramic arts, fiber arts, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture and 2D.
The Festival also includes live music, kids’ art activities and more. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days and admission is FREE.
