Enjoying a good scary flick or family comedy is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. And Aspen Grove is giving families the opportunity to get dressed up for a little not-so-spooky fun with its Monster Movie Night — in partnership with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. Fans voted for the flick back in August, so you know it’s pop culture classic.
Wear your costume and join the spine-chilling event on Thursday, October 21 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is FREE. You can RSVP here. Space may be limited.
Enjoy live music, a beer garden, a costume contest and an outdoor screening of Beetlejuice in the picnic park. The film starts at 7:30 p.m.
Attendees can pick up a take-out order from any of the dining options at Aspen Grove and head to the picnic park to stake their spot. (You can also bring your own snacks and treats.)
Beginning at 6 p.m., enjoy live music from JV3 and a beer garden from Breckenridge Brewery.
At 7 p.m., organizers will call up their favorite costumed characters from the crowd for a costume contest with prizes from Aspen Grove retailers.
If you want to add more fun to the night, before Monster Movie Night, kids can go to The Thinkery for refreshments and glow-in-the-dark slime making. The cost is $10 per child and pre-registration is required.
Don’t have a costume yet? Spirit Halloween welcomes you to shop at their location at Aspen Grove. If you RSVP by October 10, they will send you a special offer.
