We spy a really great deal for movie fans, especially for those who love to laugh on the cheap. From August 9 to 12, see the Mila Kunis-Kate McKinnon buddy picture “The Spy Who Dumped Me” for FREE via Atom Tickets.
If you’ve not heard of Atom Tickets, it’s a relatively new movie ticket service just like Fandango. However, this one is co-owned by several movie studios, so they’re able to offer tickets specials and discounts on specific movies, as part of the film’s marketing campaign. (We’re guessing this promo is intended to drum up more positive word-of-mouth about the comedy.) Plus, you can pre-pay for concessions for faster service.
The offer is only valid via its app — not on the website or at the box office. (Assuming you’re new to Atom Tickets, you will have to create an account, which includes having to share the usual personal information, as well as adding a payment method.) At checkout, use promo code ATOMSPY. Be sure your final total reflects the discount before hitting “Buy.”
There is a limit of one FREE ticket per account, so, if you’re going with friends, they will have to complete a separate transaction via their own app/account. Really cool, the app allows you to invite friends to go to the movies with you.
The offer is while supplies last, so there’s a chance some screenings may be sold out.
No need for any detective work, it’s a really good deal because the discount also includes the $1.35 Payment Processing Fee — making the ticket totally FREE.
We spotted the deal late in the week, but it’s a reader tip that convinced us to post it. Thank you, Jeremy!
