Let’s go to the movies! The Aurora Fox Arts Center is bringing classic, family-friendly films to the big screen with its Fox Flix. The program aims to fill the void left by the recent closure of some of the metro area’s most beloved independent movie houses. Attendees are invited to sit back, relax and enjoy some of cinema’s greatest hits in the comfort of Aurora’s favorite historic theater.

Fun Fact: Before becoming a hub for live performances, the Aurora Fox originally opened in 1946 as a movie theater, making this return to film screenings a nostalgic nod to its roots. Concessions, including drinks and snacks, will be available for purchase.
The first film of the series will be the 1986 cult classic, The Labyrinth. Sixteen-year-old Sarah is given thirteen hours to solve a labyrinth and rescue her baby brother Toby when her wish for him to be taken away is granted by the Goblin King Jareth.
The movie screens at the Aurora Fox Mainstage Theatre (9900 E. Colfax Ave.) on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $5. Fees may apply. Purchase tickets online here.
