One more location announced its closing — see update below. Four more Big Lots locations in Colorado will be closing their doors soon. The discount retail chain announced in June it would close about 40 stores across the country. The company blamed inflation and an inability to compete. Stores on the closure list have hung 20% off signs on their doors. As bargain hunters know, the discounts will deepen as the store nears its closing date.

The following locations are closing as of now:
Most of these locations (if not, all) have now closed permanently — see update below for new location.
Aurora – 6626 S. Parker Rd.
Littleton – 8100 W. Crestline Ave.
Longmont – 2151 Main St.
Grand Junction – 2401 N Ave.
Current business hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Hours may vary by location.
Close Out Sale
As bargain hunters know, the discount will increase periodically as the final day of business approaches. The longer you wait, the bigger the discount. The only downside is that the selection may be extremely limited.

The Big Lots location in Wheat Ridge at 4260 Wadsworth Blvd. just announced that it will closing in the next few months.
The store hours are currently 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Subject to change.
The discount is currently up to 30% off, depending on the department. (Note: As of now, there is no discount on food and beverage.)
