Last year, Mayor Hancock proclaimed October 14 “Breakfast Burrito Day” and it quickly became Denver’s favorite food holiday. It just seems breakfast burritos are the perfect morning meal — delicious and easy to grab on-the-go.
To celebrate the second annual “food holiday”, two local restaurants are celebrating the day with hot deals. The choices may be limited, so ask first before ordering.
The deals are valid on Saturday, October 13, while supplies last.
Illegal Pete’s — The popular local restaurant and bar is offering the best deal — FREE! Get a breakfast burrito for FREE from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — no strings attached. The offer is valid at all locations, except for The Hill in Boulder. (The restaurant’s burritos were even featured on The Travel Channel — click here.)
Be warned, the promo was very popular last year, so get there early or expect long lines.
Santiago’s — To honor the day, the Mexican restaurant is rolling back its prices to back when it first opened in 1990. Get a breakfast burrito for $1.25. With a limit of five per person, you can pick up extra for friends, family or co-workers.
