Four Mile Historic Park is shining bright this summer with the biggest event the local attraction has ever offered. Bright Nights at Four Mile transforms the Park into a glowing landscape that immerses visitors into the artistry of larger-than-life lantern installations that include a mythical dragon that blows smoke, Colorado wildlife and flowers, a crystal forest with unicorns, and creatures from Chinese mythology.
“These are all new installations; nothing is repeated from last year,” says Jennifer LaGraff, CEO of Four Mile.
“The lanterns must be seen to be believed — it’s a stunning display of artistry, especially in the interactive area. We’ve increased that section, and it’s everything you can play with or touch: swings, seesaws, drums, musical instruments.
“And no one should miss the Colorado wildlife section. Picture giant bears, large columbine flowers, there’s even a rattlesnake. Four Mile is where imagination glows to life this summer!”
With an expanded interactive exhibit space — where people can play on colorful swing sets, perform on lantern drums, and dance on an ever-changing colorful dancefloor — Bright Nights will feature creations designed to engage the imagination and invite participation.
Created by Tianyu, a Chicago-based company, this is the only lantern art installation in the Mountain West
The special attraction runs for 11 weeks — from July 19 to September 29, 2024.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for children (ages 3 to 12). Purchase tickets here.
