Even if it is really hot this weekend, you can enjoy great performances in music, dance and more all while staying cool in your car. Summer Saturday Drive-thru’s coordinated by the Broomfield Council on the Arts and Humanities is an outdoor festival that works like a drive-thru attraction. The next FREE event is Saturday, June 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at FlatIron Crossing Mall.
This drive-thru event showcases a wide variety of fine arts and performances, all viewed from the comfort of your car. After you drive through, you can stay and watch. Plus, there’s a FREE goodie bag for the kiddos.
What will you see at Summer Saturday Drive-Thru?
Cultural dances by Fiesta Colorado Dance Company, East Indian dance performances by Colorado Fine Arts Association, youth team dance performances by Dance Arts Studio and aerial performances by Iluminar Aerial.
Live music by Rocky Mountain Brassworks and the Broomfield Symphony Orchestra will be featured.
You can also view art exhibits by local artists including Camie Rigirozzi Art and Ruth’s Painted Pony Art, as well as a display by Sustainable Broomfield.
Though they can handle hundreds of cars, event organizers need you to sign-up for a time-slot in advance. This keeps traffic flowing and ensures the kids gets a goodie bag.
You’ll find all the fun in the parking lot south of Crate & Barrel at the Mall.
