Raise your flag for fresh sopaipillas, Denver! The wait is finally over. If you’ve been wanting to experience the “new and improved” Casa Bonita, it’s your time to get in line without having to wait for your name to be drawn in a lottery. Many waited for months to be selected to make reservations, while others never received the good news. Since the iconic restaurant reopened in May 2023, the only way you could get reservations was to be selected via a lottery.
For many fans, it was frustrating because it could take months for your name to be drawn.
As of October 1, 2024, Casa Bonita will no longer require diners to have a pre-paid ticket. The restaurant will operate just like most others in town by making reservations. Walk-ins will not be allowed.
The other major change fans will experience is that there will no longer be a “buffet line”. (Die-hard fans will miss the experience of getting their “school lunch tray” and snaking through the restaurant to get their meal.) Diners will be seated, served and pay their bill just like any other restaurant.
As of now, the pricing isn’t expected to change. Adult entrées will remain from $29.99 to $39.99 and children’s from $19.99 to $24.99. Pricing varies from lunch to dinner.
There will be two dining options:
Standard Dining seats you in a themed dining area.
Premium Dining puts you in the center of the action near the cliffs and waterfall.
Casa Bonita is open for the following hours:
Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The purchase of a meal is required.
Reservations for February 2025
Diners can start making reservations on December 9, 2024 at 9 a.m. for February 2025 at casabonitadenver.com. The pre-queue starts at 8 a.m.
While everyone will be in the queue at the same time, Founding Members who log in will see table availability that is unavailable to the general public. (Note: The Founders Club is exclusively for those fans who were already on the Casa Bonita waiting. Unfortunately, the restaurant is no longer offering invitations to join.)
