It may be a scorcher outside, but this is the time of year to score the best deals on winter sports gear. Christy Sports will hold Powder Daze from Friday, August 25 through Monday, September 4, 2023, at its stores in Littleton (8601 W. Cross Dr.), Dillon, West Vail, Steamboat Springs and online. This is the time to upgrade your gear, restock essentials (why is it we can only find one sock, when we know we put two into the wash?), snag discounts on some of last year’s models and take advantage of lift ticket deals.
Powder Daze offers discounts on the previous season’s products. Customers can find incredible deals on top-of-the-line gear and stock up on all of the winter essentials at up to 60% off.
Christy Sports has spent the summer gathering inventory from their 60+ retail stores across Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Montana and Washington and consolidated all of it at a few key locations for the Powder Daze event.
Previous season models of skis, snowboards, boots, jackets, pants, helmets and accessories from brands like Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, Obermeyer and Spyder will be marked down and available in store and online.
Christy Sports gear experts and boot fitters from across the country will be on hand throughout the event to provide advice and expert service on choosing the right gear and ensuring the proper fit.
In addition, you will find some season pass deals for adults and children. Christy Kids Bundles are packages by which parents can get their kids season gear rentals bundled with junior season passes good at Loveland ($289) and Monarch ($343).
Unrestricted four-packs for Loveland will be priced at $259. Arapahoe Basin will be selling three-day Value Packs for $149, which will jump to $229 after Powder Daze. Monarch will be selling four-packs for $249.
