Apparently, National Fossil Day is this coming week. The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History joins in the fun by inviting kids and their families to design their own trilobite cookie on Wednesday, October 11. Drop in for a bite of fun at the Museum’s backyard (north side), where a chocolate fondue pot awaits to design your own cookie from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Also, explore real trilobite fossil plants and animals, make a trilobite magnet and piece together the trilobite puzzle. This event is FREE. Henderson Building, 1030 Broadway (15th & Broadway), Boulder, 303-492-6892.
