Curtis Park Deli (2700 E. 6th Ave., Unit B) in Cherry Creek is postponing its annual anniversary celebration for later in the summer, when (hopefully) there will be more to celebrate. In the meantime, they’re honoring their laid-off colleagues in the restaurant industry. Any worker who has been laid-off (as a result of the coronavirus pandemic) can get a FREE sandwich for carry-out on Monday, April 20.
The deli kindly asks for a paystub or proof of unemployment, if possible. Otherwise, the honor system will be in place.
The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Additionally, the local deli will be matching any donations given in the restaurant (via cash or Venmo at @curtisparkdelicc) on Monday to Feed It Forward, a local organization raising money to support local restaurants providing meals to the frontline workers during the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Every $10 donated gets patrons entered into a raffle to win prizes, including free food and Curtis Park Deli gear.
