To help do her part to help Denver kids and families, local Englewood artist and educator Jules Elders with Art’s Cool has taken to the Internet to provide FREE drawing classes for little ones until schools reopen. Jules Elders has a BFA in Fine Arts/painting from Kendall College of Art and Design and is now creating children’s books and teaching elementary school children. April’s free-of-charge classes will be held:
Wednesday, April 1 at 2 p.m.
Friday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, April 8 at 2 p.m.
Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m.
Children and parents must register in advance to receive the web link for the online classes. You can do so here.
Art’s Cool was founded in Denver by artist and educator Jules Elders in 2019. The curriculum is a well-rounded approach incorporating the STEAM philosophy. Elders’ classes extend beyond the subjects taught in school.
They have a broad focus and help the child explore subjects in a fun and interactive way through “stealth learning,” where learning happens while art is created.
Morning,
The artist’s site is asking for Venmo payment. I emailed asking how to register for the free classes without payment.
Let us know what you hear. The artist contacted us and said several of her classes were free, which is why we posted them. – Laura
