Ten years ago, Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock created Denver Days, a chance for neighbors to get to know their neighbors by hosting block parties, picnics and service projects. To celebrate a decade of Denver Days, the city is staging a FREE festival on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Civic Center Park.
Family-friendly entertainment includes the Brothers of Brass Band, face painting, yard games, live mural art, cultural demonstrations, the chance to plant trees and more. Food trucks will be on site, too.
The first 1,000 attendees will receive FREE Denver Days giveaways.
