With a focus on elevating the creative industry, Denver Design Week is a seven day celebration and showcase of the region’s best architecture, interiors, art, brands and technology. The event runs October 17 to 25 and encompasses more than 35 events, keynotes and panels sessions on the topics of architecture, interior design and product design held across the metro area.
Most of the events cost $10. MHOTC readers can get 50% off the $10 tickets. To do so, find an event or activity of interest, click on purchase tickets, use the promo code MID50 at checkout and pay just $5.
There are also two FREE events on the schedule: one on Monday, October 21 at 5 p.m. at The Source Hotel where Ted Vadakan, co-founder of Poketo, is making a book tour stop to celebrate Poketo’s new book “Creative Spaces”.
The second on Wednesday, October 23 at 6 p.m. at Design Within Reach features two design nerds — Amy Auscherman, Herman Miller’s corporate archivist and Mad Men adviser, and Darrin Alfred, DAM’s curator of architecture and design — who will share their thoughts on architectural and archival preservation.
