The Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls & Toys holds its last Community Day on Sunday, August 5 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is FREE, though a $1 donation per person is suggested, if you can afford it. The museum’s exhibits include giant teddy bears, Japanese dolls, fully furnished miniature houses, miniature trains, planes & cars, a miniature circus, antique dolls and much more.
This will be the last Community Day (in fact, the last day) for the museum at its current location. The hope is to move into a new space sooner rather than later. So if you have planned to visit this treasure trove of childhood diversions, this may be your last chance for some time. 1880 Gaylord St., Denver, 303-322-1053.
