If you’re looking for face masks, and for a way to help support local businesses, here are some Colorado-centric masks from Denver-area designers and shops. Masks are a way of protecting the people around you, in case you’re infected and don’t know it. Now you can show that you care not just for the people with whom you come in contact, but for the Mile High City and Centennial State.
Do you know of other Denver area businesses or makers that are selling masks? Feel free to leave a comment with your favorite or send an email to laura@milehighonthecheap.com. We’ll look into adding it to the list.
We have no relationship with any of these mask sellers, and we don’t get a commission if you buy one. Still, you may see full-blown ads for other masks (over which we have no control), interspersed between the ones we’re listing.

I bought 2 masks from InkMonstr and picked them up for free a few hours after I placed an order online. They are very well made and extremely comfortable as the fabric stretches with facial movement. Thanks MHOTC as always for this useful info!
These are not cheap .. why not have some reasonable priced masks? …nothing wrong with $3.95 @ King Soopers!!!
Sandy. There is nothing wrong with the masks you can get at King Soopers or Target and other mass market stores. However, this list includes masks produced in Colorado by locals. — Laura

I’m looking for 3 layer cotton masks as that is what the CDC recommends and I am immune compromised. Do you know of anyone here in Colorado that makes them?
Thank you,
Cindy
Cindy – I’m not sure who is making 3-layer masks. If I might suggest, find one of the local makers on our list (as opposed to a store) and either call or email them (or send a question through Etsy, if they use that platform). My guess is the folks who make masks one at a time instead of manufacturing in mass quantities, would be happy to make you a 3-layer mask. All you have to do is explain your situation and any specifications. — Laura
The masks sold at King Soopers are made in China. I prefer masks made in the USA, especially Colorado. I would rather pay a little extra than buy foreign made.
HeyAnja.com is also a local mask-maker with several design and size options
Thanks for the suggestion. We added it to the list. – Laura
Looking for a plastic mask, eg. see through.
Cynthia — Note that Arrow Atelier (the first listing) sells see-through masks. — Laura
I’m looking for 3-layer masks that that have the upper & lower straps/elastics that go over/around the head – NOT the ones that go over the ears. The tops of my ears are rebelling at having the straps/elastic pressing down on them for so long.
