If you’re bored, there’s no better place than the Denver Museum of Nature & Science (DMNS) to ignite your wonder and curiosity. There’s always so much to see, experience and learn. Currently, the exhibit “Extreme Sports” is in its final weeks, closing on April 12. The exhibit goes inside the minds and bodies of extreme athletes to explore the psychology of their motivations and the science behind some of the riskier sports, such as wingsuit flying, ice and rock climbing, parkour, free diving and much more. (Entry is included with general admission.)
In addition, “The Science Behind Pixar” exhibit is also closing soon — on April 5. Loved by kids of all ages, the family-friendly exhibit explores the science, technology, engineering, art and math concepts used at Pixar Animation Studios every day to bring their beloved films and characters to life.
There are more than 50 interactive elements in which attendees can engage and expand their knowledge. (The exhibit is not included with general admission and requires an additional fee.)
To help with the family’s entertainment budget, DMNS is offering an online discount through March 27. Save $3 on general admission tickets for all levels (adult, youth and senior) with promo code EXTREME. There’s already a $1 discount for purchasing tickets online, so, with the promo code, you’ll save $4 in total. Even better, there are no service fees online.
The discount is only valid online and can be applied to multiple tickets in a single transaction.
With the discount, the ticket prices are as follows:
Adult — $15.95
Youth (3 to 18) — $10.95
Senior (65+) — $12.95
