Finally…you are rewarded for reading all those books while stuck at home. Denver Public Library’s Winter of Reading is a reading challenge like the Summer of Adventure, except it’s for adults! You read and complete library-related activities, fill in those items in your brochure or through DPL’s Beanstack site (this year’s online challenge tracker) and then claim your prize. Simple yet sweet.
Winter of Reading kicks off January 2 and runs through February 28. Participants must be 17 or older and prizes are limited to one per customer.
How to Play:
Pick up a brochure at any DPL location or register on Beanstack.
Complete any five activities and describe what you did. You don’t have to stop at five!
Bring your completed brochure or Beanstack completion to any DPL location anytime until February 28, 2021 to claim your prize. Prizes include a journal and a coffee mug and are limited to one per customer
Prefer the classic paper brochure? Request Winter of Reading challenge brochures at any branch during curbside hours.
Winter of Reading Events
One of the Winter of Reading activities listed in the brochure is to attend a virtual library event. While you can attend any of DPL’s virtual events, they have put together some specially-crafted events for your Winter of Reading pleasure.
