Denver gets a full-blown Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) Parade and Festival on Saturday October 28, 2023. A parade will be held along Santa Fe Dr. from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Then, the fun moves to Civic Center Park for a family-friendly festival from noon to 8 p.m. with live music, food, games and more.
The parade is expected to include creative floats, marching bands, ballet folkloricos, fire trucks, catrinas, Coco characters, lowriders and lots of colorful costumes. It starts on West 7th Ave. and Santa Fe Dr. at 11 a.m. and moves toward La Alma Lincoln Park. The parade ends at 13th Ave. and Mariposa Street.
The festival at Civic Center Park will have food vendors, live music, drinks, exhibitors, a Catrina contest, fair games, altar exhibition, and international music from around the world.
Performers scheduled to appear include performances from Sonora Dinamita and Adolescentes Orquesta, Banda Los Mazatlecos, Grupo Kaoba and more.
