Celebrate traditional Latin American (and the rest of the world) culture during Día del Niño (Day of the Children) on Sunday, April 28, 2024. This year, Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art celebrates on Saturday, the 27th, while the Denver Art Museum, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Clyfford Still Museum, History Colorado Center and Denver Central Library will offer FREE general admission and/or entertainment on the 28th. Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participate in a free family-friendly day of multicultural festivities, including art-making, live dance, and music.
Performances by Uvalde High School Mariachi Los Coyotes, Mariachi Corazon de Oro de Colorado Youth Mariachi Program, and Ballet Folklórico de la Diversidad Cultural.

Clyfford Still Museum
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Stop by the Museum’s outdoor forecourt and join artist Leticia Dominguez for a drop-in art making activity from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Participants will decorate screen-printed paper puppets created by the artist. Enjoy child-friendly dance performances by local groups on the forecourt at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.
This is also a SCFD FREE Day so everyone, regardless of age, can visit the museum for free.
Denver Art Museum
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bi-lingual activities, hands-on art projects, musical and artistic performances both outdoors and inside. Among the performing groups: Comparsa Morelos, ARCINDA, Celtic Steps, Friendship PowWow Dancers and Chihera African Marimbas.
The Denver Preschool Program will also be on-site with local celebrity guests who will read to children in English and Spanish at 11 a.m. A FREE book will be given to each child who attends the reading.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Celebrate Día del Niño/the Day of the Child at this special SCFD Free Day at the Museum. In addition to FREE general admission for all visitors, the celebration will include special performances, music, and activities for the entire family.
Día del Niño guests can also enjoy 50% off admission to the temporary exhibition “Orcas: Our Shared Future” and 50% off admission to Infinity Theater and Gates Planetarium showings throughout the day.
History Colorado
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy family-friendly programming, live music and dances by local and international artists that celebrate children from around the world. Admission to the entire museum and all of its exhibits is provided free of charge throughout the day.
Denver Public Library
Noon to 3 p.m. Celebrate in the Children’s Library at Central Library! Live music and dance performances from around the world, special treats and family friendly activities throughout the afternoon. 10 W. 14th Ave. Pkwy., Denver.
