If you love space, you’re going to enjoy this out-of-this-world, once-in-a-lifetime experience at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science. NASA astronaut Dr. Kjell Lindgren is returning to Colorado for a special presentation on Wednesday, May 23 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Lindgren will discuss his training and life as an astronaut, as well as his experiences onboard the International Space Station. He logged 141 days in space, successfully completed two spacewalks and conducted more than a hundred different scientific experiments.
Lindgren is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado State University and the University of Colorado Medical School. He worked as a flight surgeon at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, before being selected as an astronaut in 2009. After the program, enjoy a meet-and-greet with Dr. Lindgren.
