BOO! It’s giveaway number three! This is a new giveaway, so you need to enter again — even if you entered the first two. Congratulations to our first two winners, Pablo and Kirsten! Denver’s largest and most popular Halloween event comes alive with all the thrills, tricks and treats visitors can handle. Elitch Gardens’ Fright Fest will host five weekends of hair-raising fun for ghouls of all ages. Visitors can enjoy Family by Day and Fright by Night, as well as their favorite theme park rides and an all-new haunted house.
Little ghouls and goblins can enjoy Family by Day activities from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Children should be dressed to impress in their Halloween costume for the daily costume contest, as well as to enjoy FREE candy on the Trick or Treat Trail in KiddieLand.
Other activities for the little monsters include a Scream It Out Contest, Broomstick Bingo and a Graveyard Groove freeze-dance contest. KiddieLand closes at 6 p.m. — just in time for the sinister beasts to awaken.
When the sun goes down, Fright by Night comes alive. Starting at 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, spine-chilling screams will be heard throughout the park with monsters, stalkers and mayhem of all kinds lurking around every corner.
Prepare to be scared in our all-new haunted house Lock Up: No Escape, where wild inmates have turned the dark prison into their own twisted playground.
Keep the thrills going while navigating Big Top Freaks, being mesmerized in Séance and feeling pursued in the park-wide TERRORtories. Fright by Night is recommended for visitors over 12 years of age.
Fright Fest runs weekends (Friday to Sunday) from October 1 to 30. Fright Fest is FREE with park admission, while some haunted attractions are an additional charge.
If you’re a season pass holder, Fright Fest park admission is included. However, purchase a 2023 Season Pass and receive FREE Fright Fest admission for 2022 and 2023.
