The Annual Valentine’s Day Marry Me & Ski for Free Mountaintop Matrimony wedding ceremony and reception at the Loveland ski area on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, is a Colorado tradition, now in its 33rd year. Couples with valid Colorado marriage licenses are legally joined in matrimony and already-married couples may renew their vows.
This mass wedding takes place outdoors at noon — sharp! — in Forest Meadow (at 12,000 feet). The ceremony lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30 a.m.
Participants and guest must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
The Honeymooner’s Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30 p.m. at the Loveland Basin featuring music, wedding cupcakes and sparkling apple cider!
Registration is $25 per couple (does not include lift tickets or lunch vouchers).
Registration is not limited in number, but if your sweetie has already said yes, there are great benefits to signing up in advance.
Participating couples that preregister will be eligible for the 2-for-1 lift tickets the day of the event, a total of $149. Preregistered couples will also be eligible to purchase lunch vouchers for $16 with an $18 value. FREE wedding cupcakes, cider and beer coupons will be provided to preregistered couples.
Participating couples must preregister online in order to receive the goodie bag, reception treats and the Marry Me Ski for Free 2-for-1 lift ticket special for the day of the event.
Guests are NOT eligible for the 2-for-1 ticket offer. Individual lift tickets will be $149 the day of the event. Guests will be eligible to purchase a lunch package for $20 including an $18 lunch voucher, 2 beer coupons, a wedding cupcake and cider at the reception. These packages will be available for purchase at morning check in.
Couples getting married are required to obtain a valid Colorado Marriage License and need to bring it with them to the ceremony to be signed.
Couples are encouraged to dress in appropriate “ski-wedding” attire as there will be great photos ops.
Remember: Forest Meadow is located just under 12,000 feet and that dressing to stay warm is important even on a sunny day. The wedding will not be rescheduled because of snow or cold weather, so be prepared!

Cheers to all the happy couples!
