If you’re planning on sipping Starbucks this holiday weekend, head to the grocery store for some sweet savings. Many grocery stores (and a few big box retailers) have an in-store Starbucks café for the ease and convenience of shoppers. (There is literally a Starbucks everywhere, right?) In any case, these locations often offer exclusive discounts and promos just for their customers.
This offer is only valid at participating in-store Starbucks cafés located within King Soopers and Safeway — not any other Starbucks locations.
Save $2, when you spend $10 or more at the in-store café — from Tuesday, June 29 to Monday, July 5.
The offer is only valid for in-person purchases, as mobile orders do not qualify for the discount. In addition, the offer does not apply to Starbucks gift card or reload purchases. However, the offer does include Starbucks mugs and cups, so now’s the time to pick one up for yourself or as a gift — especially because those items rarely go on sale.
At Safeway, the deal requires your shopper’s loyalty card and is automatically applied at checkout. (It may be different at King Soopers, so be sure to ask for the discount before paying.)
Most in-store cafés are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. However, hours vary by location — especially on July 4th.
If you keep your purchase to or around the minimum required ($10), it’s just like saving 20%. And, if you’re purchasing multiple food items and beverages for more than $20, you might consider breaking your purchase into separate transactions (in increments of $10) for maximum savings.
