Thank you to reader Dee N. for alerting us to this big news! The Sprouts Farmers Market (1980 E. County Line Rd.) in Highlands Ranch is closing permanently Friday, June 3. And, as every bargain hunter knows, that means there’s a closing sale with lots of deals and discounts. Start making your shopping list now!
As of now, we have been unable to confirm any details regarding the closing sale and percentages off.
The closing sale runs from May 17 to June 3. Weekly ad pricing, pick up and delivery are unavailable at this location. The percentage off should increase as the final day of business approaches.
We have reached out to Sprouts Farmers Market for details. In addition, we’re hoping our team will be able to visit the store personally for a little investigative work.
In any case, we wanted MHOTC readers to be “in-the-know” about the closing sale before the shelves are cleared out. (If you go, report back to us what you find at bryan@milehighonthecheap.)
As of now, the store is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. However, business hours are subject to change.
UPDATE: Special thanks to readers Mari F. and Jacqueline K. for sharing their “investigative work” with us. (We just love our readers!)
Here’s what they found:
Lots of managers specials, but many items are still at regular price. (For example, many supplements are full price, but almost all coffee is $3 to $6 per pound.)
As of now, there is no across the board percentage off storewide. Discounts vary by item and/or department.
The shelves are about 30% full. Only specific sections are stocked. (Note: Meat and produce selections are very limited.)
Many items are not marked down yet. However, sale prices appear to be in the process of being posted.
Some items may be on sale, but you wouldn’t know until at checkout.
As of now, the best deals seem to be on bakery, meat and dairy — most notably as low as 25¢ in the dairy department. (Because these items are perishable, SFM probably wants to clear those departments first. However, the selection is limited.)
The deals are expected to expand and increase in percentage in the coming days.
Happy Shopping!
