It’s crunch time (again), taco lovers! National Taco Day was a bit confusing this year because of the date change. Historically, the big day has always been celebrated on October 4. However, this year, the date officially changed to the first Tuesday in October. Luckily for taco lovers and bargain hunters alike, Federales in Denver is celebrating the traditional way — on October 4, 2024.
On October 4, 2024, Federales (2901 Larimer St.) in Denver is serving $5 tacos all day — for dine-in only. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend with friends and family. (Steak and quesabirria tacos are excluded from the discount.)
Taco fans in Denver can dive into one of the popular restaurant’s 13 taco creations, including the October Taco of the Month: the Ribeye Taco. The limited-time taco is loaded with ribeye, tomatillo-avocado pico, cotija cheese, onion and cilantro.
Other taco options include wood-grilled shrimp with mezcal marinated gulf shrimp, crispy potato with ancho spiced yukon or the mushroom taco with wood grilled shiitake.
If you need another excuse to visit, Friday also marks another installment of the taqueria’s monthly Live Art Series featuring artist Gus Rey. Proceeds from margarita sales will support the RiNo Art District’s ArtPark.
