It’s become a tradition on the first Friday of every month for galleries and studios in Denver’s top art districts to open for FREE art tours, talks, entertainment and visits. Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe comes alive during First Friday Art Walks. Thousands will descend upon the Santa Fe Drive, year-round, rain or shine, for the First Friday Art Walks from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
View art from hundreds of artists in galleries, studios, co-ops, upstairs, downstairs, in alleys, on the street—everywhere!
You’ll also find street vendors selling all sorts of wares and, of course, food trucks to satisfy every taste.
The District spans from 13th Ave. to Alameda Ave. and Kalamath St. to Inca St. The bulk of the galleries are in a walkable area between 5th and 11th Avenues.
Currently, all participants and patrons are required to wear a face mask and maintain social distance. Each Art District business will monitor their building capacity and may require visitors to wait outside depending on the level of attendance.
