The round-up will be updated on an ongoing basis. Even if you’ve never considered having food delivered, now may be the join the popular trend. On the other hand, there’s a whole generation of young people used to having everything delivered. For bargain hunters, food delivery is tricky because it’s not so cheap, once you consider tax, tip and fees.
However, no matter who you are, it’s convenient to have food delivered right to your front door and easier than ever before.
Be sure to review the fine print of each offer first, as many have restrictions and/or purchase requirements. And, of course, don’t forget to tip your delivery driver!
Plus, most food delivery orders must be placed online or via the restaurant’s app. However, some places may accept phone orders — just call ahead and ask.
If you don’t see the delivery discount reflected on the checkout page, do not place your order or you may be stuck with paying the fees. Contact the restaurant directly to address any promo or discount issues first.
Plus, the minimum purchase requirement does not include tax, tip or other fees. (In some cases, other service fees may still apply.)

When you place an order directly with a restaurant and go pick it up, should you tip the person who hands it to you? If so, what percentage? Thanks.
A buck or two…maybe
Leave whatever you feel is helpful considering they aren’t making nearly as much doing this as you may think. Most of these folks real income is the tips!
Why not pretend you’re sitting in the restaurant and tip accordingly ? Their bills haven’t changed just their circumstances.
I normally tip 10% Same as I do for the delivery service workers DOORDASH, UBER EATS, POSTMATES, INSTACART,etc..
We tip 15%.
Why? Because we need to help these workers and businesses. Delivery is a special service! Food is delivered quickly and specifically to your door. Many of those delivering lost their jobs and are working hard to support their families. This is the time to invest in people and the economy and give the best we center back.
