The Stanley Arts Festival is two FREE days of artistry at Stanley Marketplace (2501 Dallas St.) in Aurora on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8. Stanley Arts includes a national juried art show of 90 artists, live entertainment, children’s creation station activities and interactive art installations. You’ll find artists working in 13 categories, including ceramics, mixed media, digital art, photography, metalworks and drawing. Forty-eight of the artists are Colorado-based and 39 are new to the Festival.
In addition to the immersive experience of meeting with artists, families can enjoy children’s activities at Creation Station and visit the CherryArts Mobile Art Gallery throughout Stanley Marketplace.
This year, the festival will also feature large-scale inflatable sculpture installations, including “Creatura Psychedlica,” a monumental pneumatic sculpture installation by Bill Kennedy of San Francisco in partnership with the Museum of Outdoor Arts.
Festival hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Parking is FREE at Stanley Marketplace. However, lots fill quickly, so be prepared to park in the neighborhoods and walk a bit. Please don’t block driveways or sidewalks.
