Want to attend a FREE rock show AND be an extra in a music video? Now is your chance. The Denver band CITRA will be playing FREE concerts at Skinner Middle School on Sunday & Monday, June 2 & 3. The shows will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. both days and are open to all Denver area middle school-aged kids. Both shows will be filmed and the footage will be used in the band’s new music video.
CITRA is an extremely high-energy rock band, known for using lasers and even pyrotechnics in their performances. They also feature guitar solos sure to melt anyone’s face. So come prepared to rock. No matter which Middle School you attend, if you are between the ages of 10 and 15, you are invited.
The auditorium has a capacity of 400, so spots are limited. Come early to ensure you get a seat. Parents are welcome to come with their children, but parent spots will be very limited in the auditorium. This is so the video shows mostly kids, as it would be on a regular school day.
If you are not able to get into the show, there will be food trucks outside and a festival-like atmosphere around the school. You might even get to meet the band. Ten percent the food truck proceeds will go to the school, so please come out for a fun event that benefits a local school!
