There’s so much to experience and explore in Downtown Denver, but, for some, the paid parking is a major deterrent. (So is just finding a parking space on some days!) If you hate feeding quarters into those darn parking meters (and/or having to keep checking the time for when your meter expires), remember that metered parking is FREE every Sunday and on City holidays in Denver. Keep your change and don’t worry about the time!
Parking at a meter space or multi-space section is FREE on the following City holidays:
New Years Day – January 1
Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday in January)
Presidents Birthday (third Monday in February)
Cesar Chavez Day (last Monday in March)
Memorial Day (last Monday in May)
Independence Day – July 4
Labor Day (first Monday in September)
Veteran’s Day – November 11
Thanksgiving – (fourth Thursday in November)
Christmas – December 25
