If you’d rather not fight the hordes on Black Friday, get out into the fresh air on Friday, November 24, 2023, for a healthy post-holiday. Thanks to Colorado Parks & Wildlife, visitors receive FREE admission to any of Colorado’s state parks. During Fresh Air Friday (conditions permitting, of course, for some of these activities), try hiking, cross-country skiing, bird watching, wildlife viewing and more.

Visitors should be aware that Friday, November 24 is a state holiday and some park visitor centers may not be open or fully staffed. Enforcement personnel will be patrolling the parks but some visitor services may be limited.
