Coloradans are a generous lot. Right now, dozens of organizations are offering free food distribution for families that need help, with some sites offering drive-through pick-ups. Others offer doorstep deliveries for eligible participants. There are even places where you can get free pet food.
What we’ve tried to do is list one-stop “shopping” clearing houses for you to drill down and find the outlets nearest you. If you know of an organization distributing food or household essentials, please email complete information to info@milehighonthecheap.com and we’ll try and get it added to our list.

Click here for a map of food pantries across the metro area. You search by entering your city or zip code. Pantries are still open to the public but have shifted to pre-packed food boxes for drive-through or pick-up outside the building.
Many pantries are also allowing folks to come on behalf of those without means of transportation– just make sure you have the client’s name and birthday to receive their benefits for them. We recommend calling pantries before visiting to ensure that the service is available.
