Mmm…doughnuts! Voodoo Doughnut is celebrating its 15th anniversary and the birth of the original Bacon Maple Bar. The first location opened in Portland, Oregon on May 30.
What started out as the little-doughnut-shop-that-could is now a cult phenomenon with fans across the globe. If you’ve ever passed the sole Denver location at 1520 East Colfax Ave., you’re bound to see the line of customers snaking out the door — whether it’s early in the morning or late at night.
The shop is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so you can satisfy your craving for doughnuts whenever it hits.
To celebrate the major milestone, the Denver doughnut shop will be giving away FREE mini Bacon Maple Bars from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 30. One per customer, while supplies last.
If you go, you’ll probably buy a few doughnuts, once you see its menu of unique treats, including Grape Ape, The Loop, Gay Bar and its signature Voodoo Doll. Just remember, all transactions are cash only, so be prepared. Don’t be one of those people who holds up the line because you don’t have any cash on you!
