The Colorado Shakespeare Festival transforms Founders Green in Stapleton into swinging 1940s New York City in a hilarious rendition of ‘Taming of the Shrew’ on Thursday, Friday & Saturday, August 17 to 19 at 7 p.m. This is one of Shakespeare’s most popular battle of the sexes. Most folks paid top dollar to see the show with the same cast, costumes and staging in Boulder, but these performances are FREE. Bring low lawn chairs or a blanket. The play is open to the public on the Founders Green, which is the grassy lawn space in the heart of the neighborhood at E. 29th Ave. and Roslyn St.
