Giant Pumpkin Festival at Jared’s Nursery Promises Ginormous Gourds

How big can they grow? Apparently, for pumpkins, as much as one ton – that’s 2,000 pounds! See some of the ginormous gourds during the Giant Pumpkin Festival at Jared’s Nursery Gift & Garden on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The FREE event includes music, a straw maze, bounce castles (small fee), corn pit, food vendors, roasted green chili and the famous pumpkin weigh-off, with prizes awarded to the biggest entries.

Pumpkins weigh in from noon to 2 p.m.

The estimated time of the Pumpkin Drop is 3 p.m.
