Beer, shamrocks and green rivers aren’t the only novelty items making headlines this St. Patrick’s Day. Great Harvest Bread Co. of Greenwood Village shows that St. Patrick’s Day has more to offer with classic, delicious Irish bread, pastries and sandwiches. The farm-to-table bakery-cafe will celebrate on Saturday, March 17 at noon with a FREE performance by Irish dancers from the Wick School of Dance. Everyone wearing green will also receive a FREE cookie.
The St. Patrick’s Day-themed bread collection at Great Harvest will include the Irish Soda Bread, a sweet, delightful bread baked with creamy buttermilk and raisins. The Gouda and Guinness Bread, made with smooth stout beer and Gouda cheese, offers a more savory flavor and will also be served.
Guests can also enjoy a Irish Coffee cake made with whiskey and coffee. There will also be plenty of made-from-scratch hearty breads created with freshly-milled whole wheat flour.
Great Harvest of Greenwood Village will also offer an assortment of delicious, festive pastries. The lineup includes fresh, handcrafted scones, including the Blarney Scone, made with buttermilk, oats and raisins. Great Harvest will also serve green and orange Challah and an assortment of freshly baked cookies. 5910 S. University Blvd., Greenwood Village.
