Town Center at Aurora, once known as the Aurora Mall, is staging a Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the southwest parking lot by JCPenney. The fest has a dual purpose — that of a charity toy drive for Children’s Hospital Colorado Center for Cancer & Blood Disorders. The public can enjoy a variety of FREE activities including kids mini-pumpkin decorating (for the first 150 children), bounce houses, face painting, train rides, a photo booth, live music and more. Prize drawings (worth $300+) will be held at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. To enter the drawing you must purchase a ticket for $5 or donate an unwrapped new toy. There’s also a silent auction with sports memorabilia and on-site food trucks.
