Kids can learn do-it-yourself skills and get a boost of confidence by attending Home Depot’s FREE kids “How-To-Workshops”. The next workshop is on Saturday, January 4 from 9 a.m. to noon at all stores. The classes promote tool safety for kids ages 5 to 12, as well as encourage some quality time between parent and child.
The January project is a mini hockey game made of wood. With help from parents and Store Associates, children can paint their creation to make it truly unique.
Paint and stickers are provided for kids to customize their creation. All participants not only take home their craft, but receive a FREE orange apron (a mini-version of what Home Depot associates wear) and a pin.
Workshop activities are on a first-come, first-served basis. Please don’t arrive before 9 a.m. Reservations are requested, but not required.
