Hop to it, crafty people! Spring is all about colors and creativity. A time to start new projects or just enjoy time around the table with the family having fun. If the kids (or adults) are bored, turn on the printer, grab some crayons and celebrate the season with a few at-home low-cost Easter craft projects. (Yes, it’s okay for adults to color!)
Bunny Ears
Nothing Bundt Cakes is making Easter more festive with its do-it-yourself bunny ears. Make a pair for every family member and hop around the house having fun or hiding eggs.
What you’ll need to make the Bunny Ears headband:
You likely already have most of the items in a craft or art box, especially if you have kids.
White cardstock
Scissors
Glue, stapler or clear tape
Markers, crayons or colored pencils
Cotton balls
To get started, print the bunny ear template here and, then, get creative!
Springtime Coloring
If you’re looking for an easier project, Papyrus offers a wide variety of beautiful and detailed coloring pages (just like its fancy greeting cards!) for the whole family — from seasonal images to wild animals.
Because of the intricate images, this activity might be better suited for older children or adults. However, little artists will also enjoy expressing their creativity through coloring. You could print a variety of images and have your very own spring family art show.
All you need are crayons, colored pencils or markers. Or, if you’re feeling really creative (and willing to make a mess), you could use watercolors or paint.
To get started, review the images available here and download the ones you want color. Even though plain ol’ copy paper works, you might consider using a higher quality paper for better results.
Happy Spring!
