IKEA in Centennial is celebrating one of the most important social events in Sweden — kräftskiva, a.k.a. a crayfish party. The annual party is usually held during the height of the crayfish season. Participants often wear funny hats and sing songs.
This year, the kräftskiva is on Friday, September 15 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For $14.99 per adult and $2.99 for kids (12 and under), get your fill of traditional Swedish fare, including crayfish, salmon, meatballs, salads, dinner rolls and more — as well as desserts and beverages.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at the store. Don’t wait, this event sells out every year! (For non-IKEA Family members, it’s $18.99 for adults and $4.99 for kids. However, membership is FREE, so why pay more?)
