“Nawroz”, also known as “Norooz” or Persian New Year, is an annual spring equinox celebration observed by Iranians, Afghans, Tajiks, Azeris, Kurds, Uzbeks, Albanians, and many others across the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Balkans. Come join your fellow Coloradans of all backgrounds for the International Nawroz Festival on Saturday, March 24 at the Evie Garrett Dennis E12 Campus in Green Valley Ranch.
From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. enjoy musicians, dancers, poets and more. Community groups will be on hand and food from Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikstan will be on sale. Tickets are $10.
