The rich tapestry of jazz history comes alive in the Five Points neighborhood during Black History Month. Jazz Roots serves as a tribute to this enduring history, honoring the cultural contributions of the black community and their indelible impact on American history at large. The performances take place over two Saturdays, February 17 & 24, 2024.
They are held at various locations in Five Points, including Spangalang Brewery, Cervantes other side, The Dorsey, The Lydian and the Blair-Caldwell African American Library.
Best of all, this is a FREE event, sponsored by the Five Point Business Improvement District.
